CENTENARY YEAR 2010
GOLF and SOCIAL EVENTS

1.  It is proposed to stage a number of events in the two-week period commencing 14^th June 2010 in celebration of the Club's Centenary. In Outline, those events will comprise the following:

Monday 14 June	Centenary Seniors' Salver
Wednesday 16 June	Centenary Men's Stableford
Saturday 19 June	Centenary Mixed Cup (Members only)  **
Sunday 20 June	Centenary Men's Invitation
Wednesday 23 June	Centenary Ladies' Open
Saturday 26 June	Men's Centenary Bowl   **
	Ladies' Centenary Trophy   **
Sunday 27 June	Juniors' Centenary Salver
**  These events to include evening functions

Full details regarding competition format and entry to these competitions will be published in due course.

2.  Matches have been arranged with other Golf Clubs that also celebrate their Centenary year as follows:

Teams will be selected by the Centenary Captains from the various sections within each Club, i.e. Men, Ladies, Seniors, Juniors and Committee members.

There will also be exchange matches arranged with the French club Golf du Sart in 2010 - dates and details to be determined.

3.  Some County fixtures will also be staged at West Hove during our Centenary year as follows:

4.  Brighton & District GS events will be held at West Hove on the following dates in 2010:

5.  The Sussex Professional Golfers Union will be staging their Sussex Open Championship at West Hove on Wednesday 8^th and Thursday 9^th September 2010.
