I have been a golf club member for over 40 years, unfortunately no longer playing - but as an ex Captain and long serving Director of xxxxx xxxxx G.C. I am presently a life honorary member.
With this history I am well aware of the essential nature of securing the right people to fill the posts which support the smooth functioning of operations.

"On behalf of the County I would like to thank you and everyone at West Hove Golf Club for making Thursday such a happy and successful day. Everything turned out superbly and even the heavy rain in the afternoon could not spoil the occasion. We were all made to feel very welcome.
Our special thanks to you, Gary, for your superb preparation and organisation which ensured the day ran smoothly; to the Lady Captain Rita for giving up her time to spend the whole day with us even in such a busy year and proving a wonderful ambassador for your Club. It was a delight to work with her.
Please convey our thanks to your 'flower lady' for her beautiful floral arrangement in County colours. All the 'ball spotters' did sterling work looking after our players over many hours, could you pass on our grateful thanks and appreciation. I believe Andy Page used his influence to encourage some of the Seniors to help which was great!
Would you pass on our thanks to Clay and his Catering Staff for being so helpful in providing an appetizing menu and your Greens Staff for the presentation of the Course in a challenging but fair way.
I have already presented you with a cheque from SCLGA as a thank you for hosting our event and hope that we will be able to hold future events at your Club in coming years."
